Southern Forests Self-Sufficiency Pemberton

The SFSS group is based in Pemberton, is a vibrant group of like-minded people in the Southern Forests region. This group serves the community and one another by creating opportunities to come together, foster friendships, and learn about the enriching practices of gardening, growing food and creating resilient communities.

This group meets at various community gardens, and at peoples’ homes, which allows all members to engage freely and cultivate spaces collectively. As part of our weekly gatherings, which currently take place every Sunday at 3 pm, at the Vic Conte Community Garden, participants are encouraged to share produce or items from home, fostering a spirit of cooperation and camaraderie.

This group hosts a variety of workshops in collaboration with partners such as Southern Forest Community Landcare and Eight Acres Permaculture.

Should you desire any further information about the group, please feel free to reach out via email at help@wbmhservices.org. Alternatively, head to the Southern Forest Self Sufficiency group on Facebook to check out what’s on or engage in the conversation.
